Engine knock.

Will noisy lifters make the motor sound like It's knocking or is there something else I should be looking at. It does it at idle and under light load, but when under heavy acceleration it does not do it. I am running motorcraft 10w30 sin blend with a motorcraft filter.

best bet would be to take a wooden stick or long screwdriver and put it against the motor on the valve cover and stick the other end to your ear and go around the motor that will help you find the noise better. good luck
