Amp Installation

I am currently working on installing a sub, amp, and aftermarket deck into my ranger. I mounted my amp, installed my sub, and ran my RCA wires, but where is the best place to run the power wire and install the amp ground? Also what company makes the best install kit for the single din deck? Truck is a 2000 Ford Ranger Extended Cab 3.0L Auto.

You can run the power wire through the firewall. There are existing holes you can thread it through.

Also wouldn't it be easier to create a signature so you dont have to always type out the trucks info?

my power is through the fire wall then down the kick panel and under the carpet. amp ground is from the amp under the carpet to the seat bracket bolt.

Yes, the seat bracket bolt will work fine, usually, if the ground wire is large enough and not longer than 18". You can take a battery terminal cleaning brush and try to clean out the bolt hole and also take a wire brush to the bolt threads and to the underside of the bolt head and to the seat bracket where the bolt sits and just make sure it is clean unpainted metal to metal contact for the entire connection.
