but hay it only comes once a year right !so you decide did i go to far?

You have guts doing all of that without anyone's permission (your neighbors or your parents), in that sense you went overboard. But I guess it's good to see a little enthusiasm, and at least you're willing to take responsibility for the electrical bill... but you still should have talked to your neighbors first, I would be pissed if I was your neighbor too simply because you did it without notice/permission.

I just have to ask, what made you go out and buy this huge thing and decorate your neighbors lawns in the first place? I mean seriously, who does that? :playingball:

edgeman4.0 12-09-2009 12:13 AM

Awesome. ballsy... but awesome.

TerrenceStuart 12-09-2009 01:12 AM

i Like christmas and all, but if someone decided without my permission to string up some lighted deer and sleigh across my yard, i would take the hedge clippers and right where my yard started, cut the decoration and cut the decoration at the other end of the yard, then remove and Keep the christmas decoration. Finders keepers. Ho Ho Ho

mcpink 12-09-2009 05:08 AM

Sweet! But I would have checked with the neighbors first. Like edgeman4.0 said - ballsy.

If I was your neighbor I would have been out there helping.

Im sure some wouldnt but they dont have the christmas spirit.

i could never figure out the whole lets out do what the neighbor has thing anyhow? i never celebrated Christmas in my life so i guess i wouldn't understand :(

DangerRanger2.3ltr 12-09-2009 09:36 AM

too much.

Johnbaum13 12-09-2009 10:12 AM

I think its a little messed up that you strung it across the neighbors yards without asking. But then again, your not a property owner, so you may not understand that. Spirit of the season or not, you should have asked permission. If I was your neighbor, and you asked me if I was ok with it, I would have said yes, and then helped you put it up. But if I came home to that strung up across my yard without my permission, out comes the wire cutters. It's all about respect for your fellow man, and his property. How would you feel if someone covered your truck with fake frost and Christmas decorations one night without your permission?

STL 12-09-2009 11:11 AM

The whole "lets out do thr neighbors" is probably more a man thing than a woman thing

blueovelboy 12-09-2009 04:36 PM
