Bleeding brakes

Thinking about bleeding my brakes.
Is there a good brake fluid out there?

i have bled many brakes and never bothered to stick to one brand or another. i would look up what the mfg reccomends and go form there.

just dont mix dot 3 with dot 4 or dot 5. mixing 3 with 4 maybe ok but if you mix 3 or 4 with 5 you made your self some problems

Why are you bleeding your brakes?

I wanna see if i can get more stopping power out of them. When i slam on them it doesn't completely stop. I sure it has never been changed in the 152k it has. My uncles crown vic stops on a dime but it also has all four disc brakes lol

out of adjustment drum brakes can give the pedeal a spongy feel, and it never hurts to flush out the old brake fluid
