What kind of paint did you use? That looks really good and I've been thinking about doing that to mine.

The all blue looked good on there.
So the black was brown before you painted? |
Nice man! Curious what it would have looked like white instead of black...hmm

i sprayed on a few heavy coats of plasti-dip and it absorbs the things hitting it.. cuz its kinda rubbery afterwards.. pretty neat stuff, and if you dont like it, you can just peel it off.. lol been tryin to get pics up for awhile now, but have been kinda busy..
PICS ARE UP! lol In case anybody wanted to see them! |
lookin badass dude
|
i wondered where you were hidin lol
|
I kinda don't like the black....think white would've matched those ugly mirrors..but that's just me. lol. If the mirrors were still stock, i think it'd look alot better and blow better.
The ass end looks really good though. I want my chrome back!! |
Lookin' sharp!
|
Turned out really good, I like!

and this is what it wouldve looked like in white (obviously not my truck) http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/l...yro666/1-8.jpg |
sorry alan...imo...entirely color matched mirrors look like total garbage to me period. There's no flow....looks like a color matched blob on the door and window area. Reminds me of the entire monochromatic fad of the 80's and 90's.
Here's a better alternative, and it looks like the street scene's on the pic you showed has the same paint treatment...actually has flow IMO and not a blob of paint. http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll182/stmitch/9.jpg http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll182/stmitch/10.jpg http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll182/stmitch/7.jpg |
you gonna buy me some street scene mirrors? if not, keep your redneck mouth sealed :aetsch:
theres also no clear on my mirrors, nor are they truly YZ colormatched |
