I like the look of them on the front but not the back.
Will it look stupid with just the front ones?
Also what are gap guards?
I have seen them and they say they are for body lifted trucks

STL 12-01-2009 08:29 PM

Just the front would look ODD

Gap guards are for bodylifted trucks hides the gap that is left betwen body and frame

See No gap gaurd up front u see all the engine on the back I have one see that black part 2nd pic shows the gap guard I custom made

They are pretty expensive..and thats all it is? lol
How do they mount on there?

And do they have fender flares that won't look stupid on a stepside?

STL 12-01-2009 08:33 PM

Aftermarket gap guards you buy are yes expensive for what they do

They just mount with those push pin deals you have to drill a few holes to fasten them

I took some sheet metal cut it in the shape I needed then painted it black

Will these look good with 15x10" rims and 12.5" tires?

mcpink 12-08-2009 08:34 PM

I don't think they would. To me, the flares on the stepside just look out of place on the rear, and take away from the allure of the stepside. The main thing, though, is that if you like it, do it!

Alright thanks!
Do you know where I can find some cheap ones? I like the ones with the fake bolt look.
