stick with motorcraft/autolite...fords really dont like anything else

I got Champions in mine. but i'll probably be switching to Motorcrafts once i Seafoam.

Seafoam before you change your plugs, mark... it'll really "Wake her up".

Also, motorcraft. Some go platinum, I went basic motorcraft. It hated the bosch double platinums I had in it before.

I used the Autolite iridium plugs and after 12k miles no worries.

When I purchased my 2005 4.0 4x4 back in June of this year...the new plugs I put in were Autolite AP5143....gap at .054...works for me..

I run autolite APP103 guy at ford told me there the same plug just cheeper.
