Broke what I assume is the bypass hose mount (3.0L)

Need to know what the part is called.

2000 3.0L

The piece I'm speaking of is attached to the same spot as the thermostat on the block, facing points out towards the front, it's a brass looking nut, about 1", and 1.5" long, has the temp sensor in the top (single wire) and a hose out of the bottom to the lower rad hose Tee. There's one very similar to it, but has a heater hose heading towards the core.

Basically, slipped while taking the clip off and bent the ever living hell out of the hose mount tube in the bottom. Temp sensor is fine, but need to know what to call this whole assembly to start looking for it. I'll take it to the Stealer tomorrow if I can't figure it out. I can't reform the tube, my monkey fists completely destroyed it.

I'll see if I can get a pic of it here in a minute if I can find the camera cable.

Basically, it's the fitting the gauge SENSOR (not the wire harness) screws into in this photo, the thing that looks like an oversized bolt (not great, but it's what I could find) (the actual fitting, not the sensor)

Here is a pic of the actual part:

I have the same problem

Did you ever find out what the name of the part is? I've been trying to find the part, but I'm not sure what it's actual name is.
