Ranger Emblems

Does anyone know how to take off the ranger emblems on the fenders?

mine are chipped and look bad and i want to get some new ones:)

2006 + emblems will line up just fine

Get some fishing line and run it up and down will cut through the glue on there. Or since they are not any good anymore just take a flat screw driver and get one side up and pull really hard.

A little heat from a hair dryer first will help also.

Exactly. Just some double sided tape.

dixie_boysles 11-02-2009 07:57 PM

Yep just double sided tape and alignment pins

STL 11-02-2009 08:25 PM

Ya just the alignment pins like Dixie said

If you buy one to put on the tailgate you need to clip the alignment pins off

You can also use dental floss or thin string.

i just used a beefy flat head screw driver, but make sure not to dig into your paint with it

Just peel them off with your hands or with fishing string like the one dude said. You can then clean off the residue with WD40.
