Motor roars on take off!

Doing some research seems might be fan clutch. Did have some squeaky belts the other morning but haven't noticed recently. But man that motors roars when I accelerate from a dead stop. Doesn't seem to have much go either. Thoughts?
2000 3.0 Flex

Thx.

i know the stock fans are loud as hell on a 3.0 especially on a warm/hot day its probably just ur fan doin its thing. best way to over come this is to get an aftermarket fan/clutch or an e-fan

Yes I was but I believe I also turned it off to check but maybe not. I know the ac works well so maybe that's just it. Thanks!

P.S. Yeah in Houston it's hot everyday. We have three days a year where it might get down to 40. All others above 80.

i used to live just south of you and had the same problem. i changed my clutch fan for an electric fan and fixed the airplane sound.

Yeah I think the thing needs a tune up too. 111,500 and I don't believe it's probably ever been tuned up. That's the next, big job.
