Re: wont start

Have you tried jump starting it? Sounds like its just a dead battery.

Re: wont start

yes i have and it still just clicks

Re: wont start

Have the battery tested. If it is ok, then you probably have a bad cable or connector.

Re: wont start

Sounds like a starter or starter solenoid.

FireRanger 08-03-2011 07:20 AM

I see. What else have you done and not told us about? You have to give us a complete picture here, not one sentence that tells us nothing.

Re: wont start

thats what everybody has been telling me

----------

i have checked the fuses and and tryed bypassing the solenoid on the fender and i have tryed knocking on the starter but nothing has worked

ColinS 08-03-2011 08:16 AM

Re: wont start

then your starter is toast go replace it and you should start.

also have you put a test light on your main power wire and little wire going to your solenoid???

i'm still holding to sayin you need a new starter

Re: wont start

If you properly bypassed the solenoid and still just clicks than what colinS said is 100% .... Starter

FireRanger 08-03-2011 09:26 AM

Re: wont start

Bypassing the solenoid mearly rules out the solenoid as the culprit. It could be the starter, any of the electrical connections, or the cable.
