Fabtech 2.5" system - Stiff Ride
 

Hey everyone, first post.

So i currently bought a used 98 Ford Ranger 4.0 V6 XLT just for a daily driver 89,000 miles, and it has the Fabtech 2.5" lift coil system on it.

My problem is the front suspension is so stiff when driving. I've heard this problem before with the fabtech system, and i was wondering what's the easiest change i could do up front to get a softer ride???

I like the height, and dont want to change that. Not looking to offroad, just daily driver.

would it be the coils or shocks that would be making my ride so stiff ?? and i know Fabtech isnt all that great, just that its allready installed on the truck.

any suggestions ??...

2.5 lift springs, or 3" spindles? if its the springs, you can try different shocks if they're still the fabtech ones. those suck

2.5" Springs. ok good to know, ill look into that.
