Road Trip Checklist
 

Wondering what some of you guys check over before a road trip or extra stuff when you hit the road for along trip. So far the only things I can think of is of course ordering a spare, oil change, belt change (need new one anyways), check fluids(brake, coolant, power steering ect), Ill be taking my tool box just in case also. Any extra tips?

I always check my tire pressure before a long trip. Also clean all my windows/mirrors.

Ha. 10 grand is a little steep. I wanted to bring my AR but hear thats a big no no.

Road trip checklist:
Tire pressure.
Beer.
Engine oil.
Beer.
Tranny/t-case fluid.
Beer.
Tire structural soundness.
Beer.
Tools.
Beer.
Washer fluid.
Beer.
Keys.

if its for teh ranger i haz a spare for ya bro. well..stock spare.


i always bring recovery tools....ratchet straps, duck tape, tow strap, sleeping bag + pillow, water!, sunglasses :cool: , and good tunes.

I drove cross-country in April and didn't take a spare... lol. I took the truck to the dealership the week before and had the oil changed and told them to look it over head to toe. I made sure I had a tarp, warm clothes, and tie downs at my disposal. I always keep a tow strap in the truck as well.

I bring everything that i already have in my truck anyways lol

i check:
tire pressure
coolant
wiper fluid lol
oil
steering fluid
trans fluid

I bring:
(already in my toolbox/truck)
good music
poncho
emergency kit
first aid
jumper cables
4 chains/one long cable (i lock shit up alot)
Sunglasses
Camera (you just never know)
Phone Charger
a handful of adjustable tools
toilet paper lol
orange electrical tape
lots of tie downs

I (often but not always) add:
Camelbak with water (unless im going to a hotel type place)
Ice Chest with sodas, granola bars and whatever maria has made me lol
an extra baseball cap lol
a spare set of keys somewhere NOT in the truck, like a bag in the back
Cash
and uhhh idk what else lol

Haha Im running 33's. Taking the trip to Visit home and pick up a trailer and possibly see a girlie. Well see on the girlie part.

i also carry a smallllll orange cone that is worthless but came wiht the emergency kit lol and gloves
