The U.S. Debt Crisis....

Well ladies and gentlemen, while I enjoyed my usual morning coffee and donut stick, I decided to do some channel surfing among the news networks on tv this morning. Obama and the Democrats have pretty much lost it to say the least. An OK congressman came up with what I think is needed to help this country out of debt by a huge margin. He managed to find a way to cut 9 trillion dollars from our 14 trillion dollar debt, and Obama said and I quote: "I'm not even going to pass it or even read it". In my book that's just stupid. He's going to veto it because it came from a republican. WTF is he thinking? Basicly that was the sum of a long statement. The democrats have lost it. They've been writing blank checks and they refuse to cut spending. Obama basicly can't except the fact that his policies are no good and he refuses to work with congress, and now the senate to help keep the U.S. Government from defaulting on its loans. We need to get him out of there. Basicly Fox news and CNBC said that he opened his mouth and inserted foot, shoe laces and all. They literally said that this morning, L.O.L. When 2 partisan networks agree on something, you know it's bad. If they don't do something by August 2, 2011, this nation will be defaulting on its loans and cause a huge global fiasco that will be felt by everyone for years to come.

I will be shocked if they don't get it settle before the 2nd. What i think they are doing is running the clock down to make it look like they are working hard on it in an effort to get votes for the upcoming election. They probably already have a budget figured out and are just waiting till the 1st to propose it.

I'm thinking the same thing. I bet they already do have a solution and are just waiting till the media just about explodes just to get a rise out of them.

Yeah in a wasted effort too. This president that we have now is a full blown idiot. CNBC said that Jimmy Carter's administration is out doing his by huge margins, and you and I both know how badly he got his behind handed to him by Ronald Reagan in the 1980 election. I think Obama knows that he's pretty much screwed the pooch concerning him getting another term in office. When the media turns on you as well as your own party, you're pretty much screwed.

MN is in it's 18th day of it's Government being shut down.
The same thing basically went on here leading up to the shut down as is now going on in DC.
Both parties standing firm on extreme ideologies instead of working together in the best interests of the people.
All the while it crumbles around us.

Both parties are to blame for all of this.

Once again you hear cries of "Vote the incumbents out come next election!"
But what will happen is what always happens. We will again vote for the same politicians from the same 2 parties and get the same results.

But, it does seem like President Obama is only willing to agree to a compromise as long as it was his idea to begin with.

Yep. The race card played a huge roll in the past presidential election and now people are starting to see what he really is about. Now the people are starting to realize what trouble this country is really in and wish they haven't voted for him to begin with. Them playing the race card is a load of crap imo.

Not quite on the compromising part my friend. That is true though about both parties being to blame. One party once to spend like there's no tomorrow, and the other party turns the country into pure communism. Either way the working men or women and their families get screwed royally. Obama is not compromising at all on this and basicly I think he knows that he's out of a job as of the next presidential election, mainly because his policies and proposals are crap and hurt the economy worse than it already is.

----------

Basicly I think that huge spending cuts have to be made to keep this country from defaulting on its loans. Also put a salary cap on all elected government officials, and start backing our currency with something instead of nothing. I'd also put a limit on how much money is printed by the U.S. mint. Because each and everyday our dollar loses value more and more. If we backed our currency and printed less money it would gain alot value.

Heaven forbid someone goes in there and gets to work instead of the usual finger pointing.

Yes sarah palin is just the person to do that when all she has ever done is run one state and abused her powers running that state and can't even hold true to the republican standards and such with her daughter getting pregnant at what age? And she wasn't even married.:rolleyes:

Didn't she even say she could see Russia from her house? :D

Re: The U.S. Debt Crisis....

Well Sara Palin had a tougher job than most. Running a state across from a foreign power that we've had uneasy tensions with in the past would be a little nerve wrecking for me. Personally what killed their election hopes was when McCain opened his mouth and said "I voted for 90% of Bush's policies". When I heard that statement I said there goes the election for them. Sure enough I was right. Before Obama took the oath and became president he started to make a few changes and alot of people thought he'd be like FDR. Well I knew that was not the case and now he's proven he aint worth spit. McCain and Palin were indeed right about one thing. Excessive spending has destroyed our economy and resulted in global impact.
