New Ranger owner. Back to Ford after a long hiatus. Finally listened to my pop whose a proud Ranger owner (500K+ mi) and I too reside in North Houston/Spring area.

Got myself a 2000 XLT 3.0. and I'm diggin' it. Meet Lily!

After owning a 2001 Frontier crew SE that I believe was cursed it's nice to know if I need to fix something on this one I won't have to take two more jobs to pay for it.

Hey guys I am located in W. Houston (Katy) area. I am on my 7th ranger since I got my license. Here is my current ranger that I picked up about a month ago. 96 4.0 auto with 78k original miles, it was owned by an old man who passed away

78k you lucky dog I thought I was doing good for a 2000 with 111,250. That '96 even looks better than my 2000. Dayum!

Thanks a lot! Ya I was really surprised to score such a low mileage ranger. The guy who owned it before was an elderly man who was the original owner.

Anyone in Houston know how to change the odometer out from one cluster to another or how to roll back the mileage? The other day my odometer went out on my current cluster so I bought a cluster out of a 96 explorer but the mileage is twice what my truck is. If anyone knows how to I am willing to pay because I really want to get my truck back on the road. Thanks
