Aaaaaaaand, one of my scratched shrouds. Gonna contact them tomorrow anyways since I found out after I ordered the kit that I need a special harness to get my high beams to work.

Still waiting on the LED halos off ebay, and I'm going to order another set of headlights to do this mod on tonight.

I kind of want to retrofit projectors in my headlights. The only aftermarket choices they have for 3rd gen are complete shit.

from other threads i've seen, there isn't much. I know JP7 cut out a lot more than the normal install to be able to get the projector to sit farther into the headlight housing. for these you have to cut off the ring on the back of the housing that the stock bulb presses into/the ring dealio twist locks. there will be pics once i get the new housings to modify.

they're 120mm LEDs that were on ebay. theretrofitsource wanted $30 for CCFL ones, the LEDs were like $8 with free shipping from china.

theretrofitsource.com definitely has all the stuff you need to get it done. there are also cheaper kits on ebay that i looked into for a bit. a buddy of mine is installing those right now actually. they have a halo built into the projector already. search 'projector len kit'

yeah i'm stoked. just got off the phone with TRS, new shroud and the high/low harness are on their way. also am sending paypal payment for new headlights that should be here in 4-8 business days.

edit: got email confirmation for my harness order. also got free priority mail shipping, and the replacement shroud was free. awesome company, i definitely will write a good review for them.

Yeah me too when something goes wrong, L.O.L. I can't wait to finish my project that I've started on now myself. That's when it will get posted up in here for certain reasons. Basicly I don't want other members to argue over technical terms about one aspect of it, and end up not even being close to what I did really. Now I do know that they mean well and all, but I'm also doing it for additional information purposes, like fuel economy, handling and etc. That way the info will be complete and everyone can enjoy the project.
