radio suggestions
 

hey guys,
i'm useless when it comes to the audio part of my truck so i figured id ask around and see what you guys think. Looking to pickup a new radio. Three things i need: 1) easy iPod compatibility (whether it's an aux port or an actual iPod adaptor wire). 2) CD capability and 3) some way to hide it so it isnt tempting for anybody looking to steal radios (although if I cant find a radio with a flipdown hide cover, I may look into seeing what i can do myself)

Try crutchfield.com, I love that place! I really like the Pioneer DEH series

I paid about $225 for an Alpine that has those features - it has a removable faceplate.

paid 100 at walmart for my jvc and had it for about 3 years and it still works perfect. Has AUX CD player radio AM FM removable faceplate

Kenwood used to make a MASK series of head units that when turned off the face would flip around and it would just look like a plastic plate over the hole where a head unit would be. Can't find anything like it now but maybe you could find one slightly used.
