Wrangler MT/R w/Kevlar

Hi,

Anybody using these tires?
I'm going to be working in the oil patch in northern British Columbia (almost up to the Northwest Territories). The guy that I'm going to work for says that the roads range from blast-rock to shale and mud. I'm guessing that my stock, factory 4-ply tire ain't going to be good enough. Plus, it's almost 1000 km for me to drive up there to work. Good thing they're paying me $0.75 a km to drive.

I've done some research and am seroiusly thinking of getting a set of the MT/R's. I was just wondering if anybody here has them and how they do.

Expensive, yes, but I compared them to Toyo M-55's and they're about 1/2 the price. Tire shop up here in Canada lists the M-55's at $515 EACH!
I got the Wranglers for $249 each

If they are anything like the previous MT/R's they will be great!

I have them on my truck, and they have never let me down. Worth the cash!

No the trucks just not strong enuff for him ha. He rock crawls with it, does tractor pulls, intense off roading. But back to the tires. Ya they are really nice but one down thing is that they aren't loud enuff on the road :D

2 Attachment(s)
Picked up the tires and rims this morning. Went with LT245/75R16
Installed on "Daytona" steel rims (black)
Tires look very aggressive.
Product review will be in about 4 weeks after my first trip up to mud country.
