Re-gear to 35x12.50x15
No BS here, working in this shop with a full set of "like brand new" Km2's sittin around is really getting to me and im savin the money i make for tires+i could sell my all terrains now, they have hardly any miles on them, but first off, there is no way in the world i would ever even think about running that size tires on 3.73, im looking for somethin around 4.56 and idc if some people say 5.13 or whatever it is i do fine with 33 on my 3.73, but i was wondering where i could find these gears and stuff i dont know much about the whole gearing thing to be honest like what exactly fits, so any help would be appreciated...and, if i got a shop to regear it estimated cost would probably be around what?

The shop where everybody gets gears done around here charges $1000 installed

dont know if i could do this but what if i somehow got the gears and then let the shop install them instead of making them buy them with that whole wait process and so on

It would be easier for you to swap a new read end.

a ford 9 inch would be good. Find one with 4.56s in it already.
edit: i forgot you are 4x4. you are screwed price wise. |
Re: Re-gear to 35x12.50x15
I was quoted $800 per differential = $1600+tax from 4 Wheel Parts to have 4:56 gears installed in my truck.

Re: Re-gear to 35x12.50x15
4.56's will do fine with 35's but 4.88's will be ideal. Im pretty sure a 5.13 wont even fit in the 7.5 or 8.8 axle but i could be wrong.
