seats for my 97 Ranger
I'm looking to fix my seats on my 97 Ranger, they don'f feel comfortable. What would be the best way to fix them up and make them look a lot better?
Thanks |
Re: seats for my 97 Ranger
If you don't have any skill at upholstery, I'd suggest getting them re done if you want some flashy seats. For the comfort level, get them re stuffed while you do that. Or find a different set of seats from any ranger or mustang and bolt them right in.

Re: seats for my 97 Ranger
Can I put 02 Ranger seats in a 97? If I could that would be cool, but I would have to find some?

Re: seats for my 97 Ranger
Just look on kijiji for someone that has rolled/ damaged their ranger and are selling for parts.
And here's a nifty site for you http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/Seats.html |

Re: seats for my 97 Ranger
They don't look to bad. But if you want newer seats just un bolt yours take the rails off of them. Then put your rails on the new seat, and presto you've got nicer seats.
I threw some mustang seats in mine http://i540.photobucket.com/albums/g...o/73cd1078.jpg |
Re: seats for my 97 Ranger
You need to state wheather or not if you have a single cab or ext cab. Please put the information of your truck in your Signature
The reason I say this is because the single cab seat tracks are shorter than Ext cab seat tracks. therefore you can't use just any seats. |
Re: seats for my 97 Ranger
you can if you really want to, your rails may not match up to the stock bolt holes so you can make new ones. allowing other seats to work, as long as the seats them self will fit in your truck, some may put you way close to the pedals.

I have the extended cab.

Re: seats for my 97 Ranger
look at the sticky at the top of the interior section. it lists a lot of direct bolt in for 97 and older. plus search. i think there are 4 or 5 threads just like this currently active.
as long as both trucks are ext cab, it can be make to work without a lot of problems. |
