i am trying to find a pcv gromet for a 2.9L called all my local auto parts stores with no luck the dealer said they can order one for 10 dollars

Older vehicles it is kinda hard to get parts for especially non common parts. I would say ford is your best bet.

Rock auto has them, but if all you need is a grommet, probably close to a wash with shipping. At least they have a part # to search with. If all you need is the grommet, I would have just bought the OEM $10 gommet, but if you need to order more parts, Rockauto would probably be the way to go.

thanks for the suggestions did some more research found out that motormite that supplies pepboys has a universal one i bought two
they were $3.99 each they worked great
