need seats

i read the seat thread and everything, i was just wondering what my best option would be for some new seats. I have a 94 regular cab... i dont care about power seats or any of that bullshit. i just want somting comfortable and that will fit in fairly easy...

mustang, explorer, or any of the ones listed in the FAQ at the top of the Interior section.

Personally, i love my B2 seats.

i've had the stock seats cut down, i've had gen 3 high back buckets, had sn95 mustang seats, and the b2 seats take them all.

B2= bronco 2 you could also go to a juy and find a passenger seat and switch it to your drivers side seat track..... that's what i did to get buckets in my 98

this works well for 98+, but not so well for gen 3s as the recline handle would be on the inside of the driver's seat. no way to do it like on the 98+. easiest way on a gen 3 with a 60/40 is to just cut the middle seat completely off.

Does any one have any pictures of a 60/40 with the middle seat hackjob, I mean removal done to it? I would really like to see this.

i took the seat completely apart kept the slider intact and just sliced a small hole in the side of the seat for the recliner lever...

yes, this works perfectly for a 98+! 97 and older's recline handle is attached to the backrest. there are two bolts on one side, and one on the inside. not the same as a 98+ seat. so if you put a 93-97 passenger seat on the driver's side the recline lever will be on the inside.

Re: need seats

Do you guys know of any seats that have a armrest built in to the seat? Cause if I switch to have buckets I would like to have a armrest...

Re: need seats

I'm pretty sure that many for Explorers came with bucket seats that had armrests attached to them.

Re: need seats

i don't recall any explorers ever having the arm rest attached. they always had a shorty console, or the full length. both console had arm rests.

there aren't any RBV that had arm rests built into the seats that i can think of.
