Idiot Light???
A Light came on in my 1998 Ford Ranger XLT 4X4 3.0 V6 the other day for about 2 min then went off. I have no Idea what the light was trying to tell me.
It was on the right bottom side of the speedo. It was just a fuel pump that had three rain drops coming at an angle from the top right side of it... I did not notice any thing wrong with fuel , engine running, acceleration ect.... Can any one help me out?? |

Re: Idiot Light???
FRF helps those who help themselves. Make an attempt to identify the symbol as YOU recall it by looking in your owners manual. If yours is lost then you can find a pdf copy online.

This "water in fuel" warning indicator is for water accumulation in the filter/separator of a diesel engine equipped vehicle. It should never light up in a U.S spec 98 Ranger. |
Re: Idiot Light???
Pretend it never happened.
