found drops of gear oil under truck freak out?

Ok so I'm at work and I pass by my truck and I noticed drops of oil under it so I dipped my finger in it and it seems to be gear oil I look up and its right under transmition and THEN I saw another drop fall from it onto ground Now what's the next step for me to do? Btw truck its a 88 ranger 2.9 no weird behavior from transmition while driving it
