Bypassing AC w/pully or serp belt?

Good evening gents...I have had to throw down some cash over the last few weeks...Starter, Battery, u joints. other then that my truck runs like a champ...AC compressor is whining hard and I would like to bypass it all together. Do I have to remove the Compressor and install a bypass pully or can I bypass with a new serp belt (no AC) and just leave the compressor attached?..thanks

very cool forum..Im sure il be many times..

Should just be able to use a non A/C belt. But check the belt routing sticker under the hood on the core support for routing information.
