vehicle advice
hi folks this is my first post. i am looking about at the ford ranger four wheel drive, probably the upcoming new model coming out shortly. was wondering if i could get some unbiased advice on the stock ford ranger diesel. things like choice of manual or auto, taking into account i will be towing a 1 tonne camper, and any issues there may be with the vehicle, transmission issues, auto or manual, diesel engine issues, electrical issues and so on. being fore-warned is always a great help. the appearance of the vehicle and finish is fine it seems, but the important part is how it will stand up under offroad conditions, mainly dirt tracks and hard beaches and country unsealed roads and stuff. any advice much appreciated.

Re: vehicle advice
apparently it is being developed in australia, so a bit of information has been leaked. we are told the new ranger is about 90% of the size of an F150 (whatever that means), and is so close in size to the F150 they don't want the ranger competing with the F150 in sales in the U.S.A. but it will be sold every where else round the world. but in australia we don't get the F150 or F250 either.
