'99 Seats

Gentlemen/Ladies,
The seats on my '99 Ranger (60/40) are shot. On Craigslist I saw a local guy that had 60/40 seats for an "older" Ranger. i committed myself to buying them and picked them up.
Getting back to my garage I started to swap them out. The mounting system is totally different. The seats won't fit. Can anyone tell me what year range I should be looking at? Again, I have a '99 Ranger XLT, 2wd, stick. Thanks in advance.
Sam

to be safe, any 98+ seat will fit as long as it's from the same cab as you have. if you happen to have an ext cab, explorer buckets will bolt in as well. there are many others that can be made to work, but it depends on what cab you have.

Will Explorer buckets fit in a standard cab Ranger or only in extended cabs?

they take a lot of work to go in a 98+ reg cab. cutting and welding of the sliders. they will basically bolt into an ext cab.

I scoped a nice set of explorer buckets at the boneyard yesterday.
Your saying that those seats require major work to get them in a
'99 reg. cab?
I need to confirm this before I go back to buy them.
