Performance chip
 
i have a 1999 ranger 3.0l i wanted to know if a performance chip was really worth getting for more horse power if so where can i get one?

I would get a Xcalibrator 2 or 3 programmer. They are one of the best things you can get to increase your horsepower.

You can get one from www.stuffforyourranger.com or www.jusnesmodified.com

They come with 3 tunes.

I have a 01 ranger xlt 4x4 , i love my truck but i cant get good mpg. I only get about 13 highway .i put new plugs in but no change. I though about a power chip. Thanks swksr

tuners and "chips" arent what they are hipped up to be they aint gonna be able to do that much for power

I don't know what your talking about, but advancing timing and leaning fuel always works for me.
