tac help
i want to put a tac in my 96 ranger, would it be best to get a gauge pod and put the tac on there, or would it be easier to get a new cluster. also what year clusters are compatible?

Re: tac help
I know that you can swap any gauge cluster from the 93-97 models (the round one that is) and it's just plug and play. I'm not sure if you can swap in from the 98 and up models, but if you where to go to a scrap yard and just find a cluster from another ranger in your model line it should plug right in.

Re: tac help
i believe that 93-00 will work.... i know the only things they did to the 98-00 trucks were change the look of the nose a little bit and add the few inches to the rear of the cab... i dont think they did to much electronically to differecnciate between those years...

Re: tac help
Anything 95-2003 will work
Also if you do a cluster swap and you want the same miles showing. http://www.fordrangerforum.com/inter...03-trucks.html |

Re: tac help
Just a side note, Mazda gauges are the same. I swapped from a '95 B2300 into my '96 Ranger. Plug and play.

Re: tac help
I switched my 99 rangers for a 99 exploder. like they said, plug and play. go to the junkyard, I got mine for 16 bucks.
