Re: Bed cage and light rack design!!
idk if the X pieces are necessary, the blue lines. but other than that it looks sick!
|
The blue ones are support from it flexing while going 30+ in the desert the red ones will be welded to the frame and the green and blue to my existing bed cage. I might put gussets too I'm not sure yet but it would help the strength of it. I'm also gonna put heims on the light rack so I can fold it down so my gas mileage isn't completely screwed

Re: Bed cage and light rack design!!
cab cage first. lights on your bumper should be more than enough. you don't want to go faster than is safe.

Re: Bed cage and light rack design!!
Thats fucking sick. The fold down idea is awesome also!
|
Im stalling on the cab cage because my interior is nice or I would have done that first. I know it should be done first in case of a rollover all the force would be on the front of the cab. once I get another truck soon I'll do it for sure
