4 cylinder with 8 spark plugs???
 

I have a 1997 Ranger XLT...2.3 4 cylinder
I have a 4 cylinder but have 8 spark plugs!. What does that mean... I got some sort of sporty package?

No 4 of the plugs on the exhaust side are a emission plug. They dont even need to be changed.

no actually ford developed this as some sort of emissions thing i believe....
