Is the Ford Ranger cool?
 

I always get made fun of for driving a Ranger at school but i really don't care i love my truck and wouldn't want to drive anything else. There is only 1 or 2 more teens at school that drive a ranger most drive S10's and just any little 4cyl car they can get. so how cool do u think a ranger can be? scale 1 to 10.

rangers arebetter then s10's an i know what you meen i get bugged by my brother inlaw about my ranger , but he drives a tacoma an thinks its better, its all personal preference

S10's are nice but eh i would rather have a ranger. theres this old school S10 with the 2.8L and some fat chick drives it like a race car i'd like to race it and see what's faster a chevy 2.8 or a ford 3.0 lol who u think would win? i have stick and she's got automatic though

ranger would beat it in a long run jus cause its stick but overall ranger is better , my ranger is a 4.0 manual with a couple of mods an a guy down my street has an s10 an when im working on my ranger all i hear is him reving his little 4 cylnder :)

lol i passed up a nice 2000 S10 i know he had to of had a 4cyl cuz he was slow i think i pissed him off cuz we had just turned on a road and i wanted to mess with him so i squealed my tires and blew buy him so he tailgated me 3/4 the way home haha but he couldnt keep up

I don't really think any truck is cool from the get go, its what you do with them that makes them special. Ideal example is the raptor.



But sometimes, special can go very bad.

The s-10s seem to be smaller on the interior. I do like the dash design tho, that kinda wrap around feel. The steering wheel feels nice also. And the 4.3 vortec is a pretty peppy little motor. In all fairness tho, any vehicle can and will be only as good as the owners treats it. My buddy from grade school has a 93 1500 with a 4.3 std. that truck just keeps on running, tuff little bastard!

after getting this '01 with the sohc motor, I would like to go head to head with an s-10 4.3 vortec. I think the ranger would take it on the strip

YOU HAVE A TAC AGHHHHHHHHH lol and it sounds nice my bro had an automatic 3.0 ranger with a glass pack it sounded nice but a few days later the engine blew...

my buddy used to have a 98 chevy blazer with the 4.3 we raced... i only have a 3.0
