Extended cab door panels
 
Anyone know of a way to get the panels off? Is it possible? This relates to my door ajar alarm problem.....I think I need to get the panel off to get to the problem....

is your light staying on even when the doors are closed?

To get them off pull up and toward you.

When replacing. Pull all the plastic pins install them on the panel. Then start from top and work down pushing it in.

Yep. But when I go over 10mph it shuts off....I think I have the issue figured out...

try spraying the latches in the front doors with some wd-40 and open and close the doors a few times if you havent tried that already

just curious...why do you want to pull off the trim panel on the rear doors?

I think the mechanism itself is bad. If it isn't partially seized its all bad. Its hard to explain totally, but I see where the latch is not engaging fully.

oh i see so the door isnt latching right...you do know there isnt a dome light switch in the rear doors dont you?

Yeah, I do. Odd thing is that when I stand outside when all doors are closed, if I push on rear dooe light goes off.
