Hood Deflectors
 

I want to get a hood deflector for my truck but i have heard that the new ones that contour to the hood don't work very well, does anyone no if this is true?

I had a AVS (auto vent shade) one for my 05 and it contoured okay

I have an AVS one on my truck and I won't take it off cause i love it

i had one on mine and loved it, bambie took it off and i just didn't replaced it yet

did ant of you get a sound as of light rain or sand hitting the window when you put on your bug shield? i did and got rid of mine it drove me nut's. only had it to days and off it came after the boys and i found out it was that bug shield

sorry hijack this thread, but what do these do realistically speaking?

They redirect air flow over your truck/car to prevent bugs from hitting you wind shield. Or just for cosmetic looks.
