Why does Ford do this?
OK so one thing I know and I have also seen / read on here is that everyone hates bench seats and 60/40's why does Ford still make them insted of buckets? Doesn't Ford look at these kinda of sites?

Re: Why does Ford do this?
As long as trucks will come in a single cab mode, we can expect that benches are here to stay whether ford, dodge, Gm, Yota, Nissan, etc, car companies will recycle those bench seats from single cab and put them in extended/crew cab models to save a quick penny, thats my Honest Opinion :p

Re: Why does Ford do this?
Is there more lumbar support with the bucket seats vs the bench, I find the Bench is lacking....
|
I hate my bench but that's only because of the poor construction that has made the cloth fail and the foam inside to disintegrate...

Re: Why does Ford do this?
I love my bench seat. That way I can have my girl sit right in the middle next to me!

Re: Why does Ford do this?
my 96 STX 4x4 had power buckets with lumbar adjustments but ive never seen another one like that. i was surprised when i got my 01 that it had the non power split bench and its fully loaded.
