Vent shades/bug deflector or no?

Hello,
The snow is leaving pretty fast and I am soon going to be starting the process of making my ranger the way I want it. I am starting small, wanting to tint my windows and put on a tonneau cover. I am thinking about vent shades and a bug deflector. What does everyone think? Should I get vent shades and a bug deflector no? If I do should they be black or chrome? Maybe bodycolour? I need help deciding! My ranger is a 2008 and its white.

Someone may need to educate me but rainguards? I think you're talking about vent shades. If so then you'll love the in channel vent shades. I've had them on several trucks thus far.

I have been debating putting a bug deflector on the front of my truck. I like the function of it but not the looks.

My choice would be black for both.

Someone will chime in soon and provide additional information.
Sorry I couldn't be any futher help.

The vent shades are good but I can't recommend bug deflectors.

over in the "exterior" section, Kindy installed some vent guards, the In-channel kind.

Yes on the rain gaurds they really set off a truck, especially when the truck has tint. I say no on the bud deflector, the truck looks sharper without it if you ask me.

Ya I guess they are called vent shades. The website I was on called them rainguards so I guess I just stuck with that term. Everyone was a great help, I really like the in channel vent shades but not sure about the bug deflector. Thank for all your replies.

vent shades are the shit! I love them, I need to get some for my new truck. I love having the window down a frog fuzz and snow/rain wont come in.

As for the bug deflector, if you got that fiberglass hood I would get one, stones will F it up quick. Traditionally I dont like them. Or the stone flector stuff, its like a stick on to protect it.
