Hub conversion for front disc brakes?

Hey. Just wanted to know if anyone's ever converted their stock front rotor/hub combination to a straight hub on the spindle that allows the disc to be changed independently. The cost of getting the parts alone to do my front brakes is killing me (anywhere from $40 to $70 per rotor).

Thanks.

$40-$70 doesn't usually kill anybody, so this isn't too common. It can be done, but is gonna take a bit of work. Your easiest solution would be to just swap some 4x4 axle arms in without the front diff. It's a direct swap in. It gives you height though, so if you're dropping your truck, this isn't the way to go. If you don't wanna do the 4x4 arms, then you have alot of fabrication ahead of you.

It does when I don't have the money...

But it isn't just that...I don't want to have to rebuild my hubs every time I get my discs changed. And, I don't have the tools nor the area or expertise to throw in 4x4 arms. I wanted to know if there was a kit that could be done to simply put on hubs like most cars have nowadays.
