Lets say that it is time to bug out and you reach for a gun what is the first one you grab and why?

I know what mine is but i will wait to see what others have to say first.

id buy a shotgun for up close stuff. and something for far away like a rifle. im not too familiar with guns myself though

SKS... all of you people saying AR-15s, think twice. Many small parts to break and maintain. Im not saying its a good rifle, because it is a solid gun for sure. Im thinking in the long run.

First choice would definately be a shotgun. But not grandpa's ol timer. Id be interested in like a spaz-12 or a 870 xcs. 2nd choice I would grab a semi-auto 30-06.

SKS or AK47 is a great choice, I bought a Colt AR15 based on a friend has pumped 15,000+ rounds through his with no problems

I would choose quite a bit. Pretty much reliable and if it shoots I will take it if need be.

Id grab my 12g shotgun, then here soon im gunna buy a 308 or a 30 06 either on of them would be nice for distance. then a 44 or 45 revolver. thats all i would need. =]

Ok here would be my choice.

Tact shotty 12 gauge with a bunch of different types of rounds it would be all you would need to survive. This one isnt mine i will be building mine here soon i hope.

Winchester 1300 DEFENDER shot gun is a good choice, use my most state police,...... just a suggestion, dnt buy any newer S&W automatics, they are junk

That S&W i have in my Pic is the lowest of the Low in there line. I have put over 2000 rounds through it with no trouble.

I do like the look and feel of the M&P but if i were to buy another pistol it will be a XD in 45
