Little help needed.
Hello all I just traded for my 1999 ford ranger xlt extended 4x4 a few months ago and I was wandering if anyone knows why the key dinger,4x4, dome light, power windows, and the windshield wipers stopped working. Everything worked fine the last time I drove the truck and today when I got in it I noticed I had problems. I checked all fuses at the driver door and under the hood in front of the driver side. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: Little help needed.
Its behind the radio, pull your bezel and radio out its the little black box with a whole bunch of wires going to it in the top left corner behind the radio.

To remove the GEM remove all your electrical connectors to it. Remember its the box directly to the left of where your radio was. Remove the 7 mm bolt at the bottom of the box. I think you either lift up or pull down on the box to remove (it has tabs it slides into). Reverse. |
