CB placement
i have a CB radio that i had in my old ranger. i sat at the edge of the seat, between the seat and the shifter knob (60/40 bench). i got a FX4 level II with 2 bench seats and an extended center console, no i have no idea where to put the CB. and it wont go above the mirror since ill be putting an ohc up next week :)

Re: CB placement
I mounted mine on the dash under the rear view mirror, there was a very convenient hole in the dash already that dropped in right behind the radio then i used the wiring from the cig lighter to power that and my fogs, the lighter hole was broke anyway and i anything i plugged in to it just got in the way of me shifting. Works great then just got a handheld mount from The Shaft and put that next to the steering wheel.http://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/...Events-835.jpg

Re: CB placement
ahh i needed this thread ha, i like yours a lot steven! i was thinkin bolted to my visor cus i have no mirrors on them but i wasnt sure if it would be strong enuff to hold them. what do you guys think?

Re: CB placement
Doubt it, if I'm right, which is a 50/50 chance, the visors are still made out of layered cardboard. They're only good for holding vanity mirrors, and maps/papers/etc. Not even a Cobra 19.
