Giving Ford a Piece of My Mind!!!

Just letting you all know, I am about to attend the VA international auto show and am planning on marching up to the ford exhibition and asking them WTF are they thinkin getting rid of the RANGER?!?! I am gonna have my FRF shirt on and smile on my face. Im gonna let them know that there is a force of 20,000 strong of ranger fans that all want to know what the hell they are smoking. This truck is amazing and to drive one is to love one. Just keeping you guys posted and hopefully i can find out how they plan on fixing this mistake.

God Bless FRF! hahaha

*Before someone says something, i know that that isnt the point of thier auto show and they probably will have no information to give me but I will atleast try to talk about this to somebody there. I am sure you all agree with me that NOBODY wants to see the rangers die.

Virgina news: "A crazed man, wearing an FRF shirt was arrested today at the auto show. The man, who was arrested for threatening a Ford motor company spokeperson, was looking for the answer as to why ford is discontinuing the Ranger model.
Ford has declined to comment."

They will eventually replace it with a unibody overseas model. The present model would sell a bunch better with an ecoboost engine in it.
Put a 300 hp 3.7 in it and they would triple their stagnant sales numbers.

Re: Giving Ford a Piece of My Mind!!!

soo per the guy, "they have not decided what they are going to do yet" he mentioned it "going away" for a year to be remade like the explorer? also them to bring back the F-100 and also bringing the "overseas" ranger, the 4 door quad cab one here to america. He actually agreed with me that he has no idea what they are thinking and that he thinks it would be stupid if they completely stopped making it so i feel a little better hahah and naww they wouldnt arrest me!! Thats only if you threaten their lives! lol you just get asked to leave for kickin someones @$$ hahahaha

their could be some reason to bring the euro ranger to the US, this is the reasoning:http://www.autospies.com/images/user...ado_teaser.jpg
the 2012 chevy colorado.
I guess ford might lose some sales from the f150 to this for people looking for better mpg out of a truck.
but then again the next colorado might just be for outside us only like the new ranger.....

you may have a point, i personally would love if they brought the 4door diesel rangers to america, i would then have no desire for an F150 or anything bigger, that may also be the problem

you realize that most of the people who work at car shows have no ties to ford except for the paycheck, right? at the LA show there were a handful of salespeople from local dealerships, but the majority of them were people in their early 20's. they get trained on what to talk about, and that's pretty much it. a lot of the ones i talked to were actors, which is great when they have to stand in front of strangers and recite lines, or do a presentation via a 50 foot screen of how the SYNC system in the new Focus works.

Yes, that's me in the center. Yes, those are two actors on either side of me.

yes i realize that, as one of them from Chevy tried to sell me on an avalance by telling me the side rail caps double as a cooler, the man i talked to was actually the manager of a dealership in the area and that is a similar story i have been hearing from other dealers in the area so yeah....there was no way any car dealership had employed that many 20 year olds as legit sales people/product experts. haha thanks for checkin to make sure im not completely gullable
