Re: ABS Light
If the computer doent turn on when u plug it in to check, you have a bad fuse, somewhere in the compartment in the cab. Mine is passenger side undr the glovebox. I had similar problem with my ranger. Replace that 10 or 20 amp fuse and u will then be able to diagnose ur ABS problem.

Re: ABS Light
Yeah, as soon as i replaced that blown fuse, the scanner would then turn on and i could scan my scodes and what not. Simple fix!

Re: ABS Light
ok, my ABS light was on...Im going to replace the ABS sensor on the rear differencial, but......HOW THE HELL DO YOU GET TO IT!?!?!?!?!?
I dont have any type of lift and dont even have a jack....any suggestions? I can crawl under the truck and I can feel the nut but I can't get any leverage what so ever. Also, I guess while I'm asking. I took the truck to Autozone to have them run codes for a check engine light. It ended up being the front o2 sensor, BUT that was the only code coming up. Should the ABS sensor code also have shown up? Could this just be a bad fuse? |
