4x4 wheel fit on 4x2?
I have an 08 base model Ranger rear wheel drive with 4 cyl engine and 15" wheels. I'd like to switch out the wheels and tires for a 5 spoke set of 16's that come on today's 4x4 Ranger. I'm pretty sure the 16 inch wheel will fit the rear, but not so sure about the front. Anybody know?

they fit fine, you can stick a 22 inch rim on a ranger
just depends on the tire size haha |
the wheels i have on my '04 are from a '94 4x4 as long as the backspacing is correct it should fit right on with no problems.

thanks
Thanks for your prompt reply. I was a little concerned that the lowly 4 cyl base model 2WD might have gotten lighter duty hardware than the 4x4, thereby precluding use of the 4x4 wheels... due to bolt circle, hub design, etc. Guess not. That's good news. Will proceed tomorrow to snag some OEM 5 spokers. (By the way, the only dealer parts guy that I called today said, "I don't know" to the question. Kind of surprising)
