the exhaust tip was already on the truck and theres been alot of talk about tips and angles and stuff


my question is, is my exhaust tip just for looks??? how do i know?

also im PRETTY sure its aftermarket, can anyone confirm??

Could just be a chrome exhaust tip, even if it is welded on.

Check the muffler for branding.. plus your truck would sound louder if it was a full aftermarket exhaust- Id think youd notice.

Shoot, everybody knows chrome adds 10hp, flames add 15hp... :D

Seriously, it might change the sound of the exhaust a little, I know my big/long chrome tips gave my exhaust a little deeper tone.

i cant even tell how different my exhaust really sounds due to being hard of hearing lol when i drive i can hear the whir of the engine but thats not the sound of the exhaust right? lol

dont get me wrong lol i can hear loud exhaust just fine lol the other day i heard a camaro that was loud but it sounded like SHIT! like a fan was hitting some sticks as it spun lol

It can change sound, but not performance. I know this from personal experience.

For some the cut of the end of the tip could keep the smoke and crap off your paint job...
