Accident

I got into an accident last night. Loud pop went to swerves then hit grass and rolled.

Re: Accident

I have a feeling there is more messed up here than just the bed if it slid off the road into grass and flipped over.

Re: Accident

Damn, sorry to see that man. Hopefully all you did was screw up the bed, but chances are you've got fluids throughout the engine, much of which where certain fluids don't belong. Didn't you just get this truck like 3 months ago or so?

The front looks in perfect condition. I was going 70 mph but bout 50 when I rolled.

How would you deal with all the fluids all over? Ya I got it back in November.

Re: Accident

sorry to hear. that cab is tweaked beyond repair as well. must have been a wild ride. incredible there isn't any more damage in front of the bed.

Re: Accident

damn that sucks man, glad you are ok. truck def looks repairable though so thats a plus. also, unless the truck sat on its lid for an extended period of time you shouldnt have to worry about any fluids going anywhere they arent supposed to. my ranger once sat on its roof and the only issue it had was a little oil in the airbox and it smoked a bit for a day or so once it got driven again.

Re: Accident

I have never heard of a pickup truck flipping over and not having any damage to the cab. but, I guess there's alway's a first time for everything.
Glad your ok!

could be the angle he rolled to it may of just nicked the cab and the bed kept it from layin on the cab

This. He didn't originally say anything about the truck landing on it's wheels or how long it sat. I always expect the worst to keep from giving false hope.

The only thing I can think of that would be of utmost concern is crankcase milkshakes from fluid mixtures. Those aren't too fun. But, in the end, engines are pretty tightly sealed, so it's a faint worry, but not to be forgotten of.
