Argh!
So this morning i walked out to put my wifes stuff in the truck so we could go to church and noticed that some loser busted out my driver side window and stole my Garmin... I was so freaking pissed i was shaking... So i called the police and filed a report but now i have to find a window on presidents day weekend. Im finding out its impossible... and its suppose to rain tomorrow so its gotta be done today. And i had to laugh when i saw that they left my satellite radio and my 250$ deck... whata newb... lol

if need be man garbage bag and tape, thats what i had to do to my sisters car when she was on vacation and some loser smashed her window out till i could get it to the shop to have it replaced, kept the rain out though

i might have to.... its so freaking stupid.. all this over a stupid little garmin. They even left the power cord and the mount.

yea, thats why i try and hide that stuff when im not using it, try looking at alarm systems, im looking right now and most are about $300 installed

Yeah not gonna lie, never leave anything of value in plain view, hell, you shouldn't even leave anything of value in your truck ever.

And never tint your windows dark if you get extremely pissed over people breaking into your truck. Tinted windows are an indicator to thieves that something valuable is inside. I'm gonna purposely leave my front door windows un-tinted so that thieves can see that I don't have shit in my truck to steal and hopefully leave it alone.:)

Sorry to hear about that.
I never leave anything in my truck that can be seen. As for alarms, they are usefull if you are at home and can hear it. but as for being in public.... not useful at all. People just walk by as they are going off. Partly because they are so common now and always going off anyway. people get too used to it just being an everyday sound. As a side note.. Sucks that they busted the window. Ranger's are among the easiest vehicles to get into in seconds without breaking anything. |

update: I just finished getting the window replaced for 80 bucks by some mexican... lol.. gotta love em.. :D

Sweet deal on the window lol as for alarms I paid $140 installed for mine. Even converted my manual door locks to power. Decent alarm too and I've never had a problem. Usually the flashing led light scares them off.
