Anyone know how easy is it to install a body lift on a 02?

On a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 7 that is with help from friends

If you know how to work on cars you should be good to go. If not then will be harder.

I agree, hardest time I had was taking the old bolts out

Clinton those bolts are a bitch. I tried once and gave up!!! But if you have a shit load of pb blaster and a pribar you are good to go.

Yeah i had to cut a couple cab bolts cause they were stuck. Other than that it was pretty straight forward i think.

i found a place that will put it on for 250 and i was thinking about just taking it to them

That's not bad, I had a few places offer $400 or more to do it. But me and a buddy are putting it in sometime soon. Whenever I get my new tires.

i give it a 1-10 a 3 lol they are easy as heck... 3.5 hours max lol torch is your friend

Yeah if i dont go to tahoe i will prolly have time this weekend. Its not looking like it either cause a couple friends just texted to say they arent gonna make it....

It took me like 6 hours lol. did it by myself though to. Now that i have done one it should be a lot easier. i didnt wanna use the torch cause of the body bushings.... i would of for sure melted those guys.

It took me like 6 hours lol. did it by myself though to. Now that i have done one it should be a lot easier. i didnt wanna use the torch cause of the body bushings.... i would of for sure melted those guys.


you are supposed to heat them thus the locktite

yeah i have been reading on it, most everything says heat the nut side with a torch to loosen up the red locktite.
