Re: anyone ever hear of this brand?
the biggest thing to worry about is longevity, you dont want a tire that will wear away in 20-30k miles or you might as well run swampers... but i would talk to the shop and see what people have to say about them, but i personally would look for an all terrain instead. an aggressive all terrain will better suit your truck.

Re: anyone ever hear of this brand?
I had a pair of the 916's (low pro sports) that were on a set of rims I purchased once. They were actually decent tires. nothing to write home about, but decent.
I know you are talking about a different type of tire all together, but as for brand name, there is only so many companies that make tires, yet there are ten times that many brand names. If I remember right, I wanna say they are manufactured by General or Uniroyal. don't quote me on that though. |
Re: anyone ever hear of this brand?
yea, i just looked at the all terrains and they look real good.

Re: anyone ever hear of this brand?
Those tires are made my National brand tire company. The same company that makes Pro Comp tires. I'm a dealer for these tires here in MI. Here those tires are known as GT Radial Adventuro M/T's, same exact tread design. I have a buddy with them on a S-10 Blazer who loves them. They are going to wear faster then the A/T's due to the opened up tread lugs, but rotate them every 6000 and you should get some pretty good tread life out of them. And thats a great price considering its almost 200 more for my out the door pricing. I run the A/T version of these on my dads Suburban and he loves them too they do great in the snow and mud. Its just more of a pesronal choice of weither or not you want the A/T's or M/T's
