info on 2.3 mods

So aside from cleaning various sensors and seeing if I can get a zip tie on my throttle cable, there's a few basic mods I'm not fully understanding. Screamin Demon coil packs: what's the benefit? And approx. cost? Also, airbox mods: what good does that do? I want to squeeze as many miles as I can out of my '94 for as cheap as possible.

Thank you! I still don't understand what the air box mod does for the truck though. Can anyone help me out there? Or have any other suggestions...

it essentially changes the way the air flows and prevents it from getting trapped in some of the pieces of plastic included from the factory, i did it on my truck and noticed a differnce as the RPMs increased in the sound and so far i havent had any problem with it, youre removing the silencer so i believe thats all it does is make it a little louder and helps to open it up a little more, i mean its free...so i would do it lol

So, I removed the silencer from the intake muffler, but didn,t do the airbox mod cuz I can't find directions for one thats set up like mine. removing the silencer made a positive difference along with cleaning the MAF and takin the slack from my throttle cable. It's like a whole nuther truck

I haven't tried to get to my IAC yet cuz it's in a funky spot. I also put in new plugs and wires. I'm gonna try and get to it today after I swap my diff fluid
