+10 points for having a Zune and not an iPod.

I have a Zune HD myself :D

Alpine makes good stuff. I had all alpine until i found Kicker 3 way speakers that thumped harder then my alpines did in the rear.

Go for the Pioneer.

Re: looking at head units..

Pioneer does good stuff. Alpine knows their stuff as well.
Since you mention using an MP3 player as a source, I'll add this little tidbit that I just found out about: The sound quality of any system playing MP3's will sound much closer to it's potential if those MP3's are ripped at a bitrate that equals CD quality. Something to consider if you haven't already.

I can tell you dont have a tremor ranger due to the color. Tremors only came in Black, Yellow, Sonic Blue and Red

Re: looking at head units..

I really dislike alpine. This is comming from someone who switches out their headunits every few months.

Now, if you are talking about their old stuff (2007 and older), that is a completely different subject. Ive had their new and old. The units I like are the 9833,9835, and the 9853, 9855. You can really setup sound imaging very well with that unit. You really have to read the manual to get full effect of the units though. I think pioneer and panasonic are alot easier to setup out of the box, so I prefer them.

Imo, for the average person, Pioneer is the best bet.
